No two removals go the same way. In an open field a tree can often be felled whole in one cut. In a Lexington back yard with a fence on one side and the neighbor’s garage on the other, that same tree comes down in sections, roped and lowered piece by piece so nothing lands where it should not. One thing to know before you call anybody. If a tree or limb is touching a power line, call Kentucky Utilities first. The line is their responsibility and no tree company should be working an energized conductor. Once the line is clear we can do the rest.

How long does a removal take? Most residential removals are a single day. A large multi-stem tree in a tight spot, or several trees at once, can run into a second day.
Will you tear up my yard? We plan the drive path and the drop zone to avoid it. On soft ground after rain we will sometimes reschedule rather than rut a lawn, and we would rather tell you that than fix it afterward.

Can you do it in winter? Winter is often the best time. The leaves are gone, the ground is firm, and the crew can see the structure of the tree clearly.
Does the tree just need cutting back instead? Sometimes. That is tree trimming and pruning, and it is cheaper than removal.
